Sherpas – the true heroes of Mount Everest

The documentary film from the Swiss Everest Expedition 2008 “Sherpas – the true heroes of Mount Everest”, which was produced by the Swiss Television, was translated into Nepali by a Sherpa. The Swiss Sherpa Foundation organized a wander cinema to show this documentary in the villages of the Sherpas.

Many of the villagers have never before seen a movie and on top of that, they could not imagine what their husbands and sons experienced while beeing on an Everest expedition.
